We have a long-term business relationship with the firm EPLAN, who distributed logiCAD/16 (MS DOS) on our behalf in the past.

Over time our business relationship has intensified in the areas of plant design and project management.

logi.DOC can access the EPLAN PPE database, read signal information and according to the needs of the functional plan, modify tools and write-back the changes to the EPLAN database.

The entire system can therefore from basic engineering to functional planning work with the same database.

In co-operation with iba AG, a leading manufacturer of PC-based measurement systems, iba‘s new hardware platform iba PADU-S-IT has been extended using the well-proven runtime products from logi.cals. Aside from measurement and data acquisition applications, automation and condition monitoring solutions can also now be carried out. Furthermore PADU-C the "little sister" of PADU-S, has been jointly designed by both companies. This new combination offers battery and field bus operation as well as a UMTS connection. The system can therefore be used as an intelligent transmitter or as a Condition Monitoring application which allows free programming and parameterisation via logi.CAD.

Messfeld GmbH is a partner in a current research and development project managed by logi.cals Austria. This project works out problem definitions of integrating maintenance applications in automation solutions.
Block modules for condition monitoring objects and their integration in maintenance/servicing applications are being developed. Thus, the complexity of condition monitoring systems at users' level can be reduced and test and commissiong (starting-up) phases can be remarkably facilitated. So condition monitoring becomes an integrated sub-process of a plant.

Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny (PL)

Cooperation of logi.cals and the "Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny" (Poland) started in October 2008. Two months later a laboratory for IEC 61131-3 compliant controller programming was opened. Now the logi.cals training centre should be equipped with hardware (by logi.cals partner Beckhoff). Together with the Institure for Industrial Automation of this University logi.cals installed a laboratory with six workstations. The Polish university received the required software packages – consisting of logi.CAD, logi.DOC and logi.CED. Because of the positive experiences so far logi.cals enhances its cooperation with educational institutions.
