  • logi.CAD supports the development of function blocks and programs. The software allows configuration and organization of tasks and resources and provides a series of additional components for testing, diagnosis, commissioning and maintenance. Serveral target-systems may be projected within one project - even target-systems of different types.
  • Being an efficient and flexible system, logi.CAD especially meets the demands of OEM-partners and system-integrators. It is hardware independent and can be adapted to almost any non-proprietary automation system by using appropriate target-system plug-ins.
  • The workload to prepare an automation system for programming with logi.CAD is minimal. For standard systems, ready-made and configured bundles of target-system plug-ins and runtime systems are available. Integration for additional controls and controller types can be made by logi.cals as well as by the manufacturer or system integrator.

System Integration in a few steps

With logi.CAD, the OEM/system integrator can self-connected its own target-system. This is achieved buy:

  • Preparing a target-system plug-in on the logi.CAD side, which provides for:
  • a) All functions necessary for creating applications for the target-system
    b) Generating code
    c) Loading it to the target-system
    d) Running tests

    To do so, pre-fabricated logi.CODE components are chosen and configured, i.e. code generator, control panel, communication modules, online-test, diagnostic functions etc.

  • Installing/configuring a runtime system on target-systems, i.e. integration of the appropriate runtime systems, makes a controller a fully functional logi.CAD automation system.
  • In combination with the runtime system logi.RTS and logi.µRTS (also from logi.cals), a whole range of solutions are available "off the shelf". Due to open interfaces, OEMs can seamlessly connect and integrate these solutions into their tool chains. On demand, the product name and the "look-and-feel" of the system can be modified according to an OEM´s wishes.
