Traffic Engineering: Propulsion Control System by ELIN EBG Traction

For the new “light rail vehicles“ (city trains) in Phoenix our customer ELIN EBG Traction provides the propulsion equipment. Programming of the Propulsion Control System was carried out using logi.CAD (function plan technology).
Traction control is realized with the compact control unit "ELTAS ECON", developed by ELIN EBG Traction.
Application programs – compatible with ELTAS-controls – are generated from logi.CAD function plans by a special code generator.
