Training Conditions

Registration

The number of participants is limited in order to offer and assure high quality in trainings. Registrations are considered in the order of their arrival. A registration becomes valid after written confirmation by logi.cals.

Cancelation Conditions

If a participant registers for a training but will not be able to participate, cancelation of the registration requires written notification and is free of charge up to 10 business days before the training starts. Cancelation up to 5 business days before the training starts will cause a cancelation fee (50% of the training costs). If cancelation comes later or if there is no cancelation, the full training fees have to be paid, without deduction. However, a participant can name a substitute any time before the training starts.

Costs and Terms of Payment

Training fees are mentioned in the specific training descriptions. All prices are exclusive legal taxes. They include training documents, use of one training PC (per 2 persons) and cover lunch and coffee breaks. Prices are subject to alterations.
A training will be invoiced after it has been completed. Invoices must be paid immediately, without any deduction. The customer has to bear all bank charges incurring with the payment. In case of payment delay an interest on arrears of 6% per annum over the main refinancing rate (2-week-tender) of the European Central Bank will accumulate.
The customer can only charge up against undisputed and legally made claims. He cannot transfer his claims to third parties. The customer is not entitled to any rights of retention concerning the subject matter of agreement or parts of it resp. he abandons them.

Accommodation

The participant has to organize accommodation by himself. On request, information on accommodations in the vicinity is available.

Liability

logi.cals reserves the right to cancel a training until the last Friday before the training starts or to offer an alternate date, if there is no sufficient number of registrations for a training and even if participation has already been confirmed.
Illness of the trainer, conditions beyond control of logi.cals ("force majeure") or other similar circumstances will not be reasons to admit customers' claims to the accomplishment of the training. Travel and accommodation expenses as well as costs for non-productive time cannot be claimed.
logi.cals is not liable for indirect damages, in particular loss of profit or obligations of third parties. Training material has been prepared to the best of knowledge but logi.cals assumes no liability for the imparted contents.

Jurisdiction

All disputes arising from an agreement relationship that is subject to these traning conditions are subject to material Austrian law, "UNCITRAL-Kaufrecht" excepted.

Hardware

One PC is provided per 2 participants for the practical part of the trainings. However, it might be reasonable to bring along a computer of one's own, provided it fulfills the technical requirements of logiCAD/logiDOC (see Technical Data – System Requirements).

Software

For the period of the training, every participant receives a full version of the corresponding logi.cals product. It will be installed and set up during the training. A "training hardlock" will also be provided so that the software package can be used without restrictions for the training period.
